I encouraged otnie to play modeling clay; catch and throw ball; do the hands/fingers painting stuff; do the fun coloring stuff using very colorful crayons and helping at the kitchen by plucking beans or any leafy vegetables, so that it would help to develop the fine motor skills of hands and fingers.
