MV Logos Hope here we go!

Otnie was so excited when he got in the MV Logos Hope ship. He met the crews and make friends with them. He enjoyed playing steering wheel for a while.

He got longer time at the book-fair section, he enjoyed a lot of reading the books!!....he said "wow!! lots lots lots of books, i love it!!." We bought two chinese story book for him, it has an english translation.



As we walked along and gazing inside the ship, Otnie saw a portrait story of the prodigal son, he learned about being disobedient is bad and it has a very bad consequences.



At the cafeteria, there was a crew who do the balloon trick show, Otnie and the other kids enjoyed, then the crew asked each kids a favor on what shape of balloon do they want to be made, Otnie asked a lot of favor like..."can you make a gun? or how about a bicycle?", the crew smiled and said "i'm not an expert magician that i could make what you wanted", then Otnie said "how about??....can you make a StarWars sword?"...hahahaha...at last!! the crew made him a balloon sword. They enjoyed talking and playing sword fight with each other, after that, Otnie hugs and say "bye bye" to him, oh! no! too bad....it's the last section of the ship, he will be missing them (crews and new friends) so much!  :)

will you be my valentine?

At homeschooling playgroup. Otnie's teacher took a picture of him and guided him how to make a necklace. As he finished it, he asked me to wear the necklace, so i do it for a while....hehehehe, he looks so happy and said "mommy, you look so beautiful and it fits you".

At home. Otnie gave the necklace to his daddy and said "How wonderful it is!.... daddy looks handsome and it fits!"....hahaha.

They do the kissing fight or tickle fight!!!... nah!.. they always do that when his daddy got home.



That night while i'm preparing for Otnie to go to bed.
otnie: "mommy, did daddy have work tomorrow?"
mommy: "yes and why?"
otnie: "ok, if daddy doesn't have work by sunday, so daddy and i will be going to buy a flowers for you."
i smiled, then i hug and kiss him goodnight. But deep in my heart, there's a tears of joy.

Oh! by the way, Otnie made his promise. They bought me a real and live orchid plants. Up until now... it's still blooming. Planting flowers is my new hobby and i love it. It's all started from my sweet hubby.

This valentine's day it reminds me how God loves us so much. No matter how bad or good we are, He is always there for us. It's like a Father who dearly love His son/daughter. In the bible says “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love" (John 15:9)

What about you....us? do we love God? or have we accept God to be our daddy?

otnie turns 6

I'm amazed that otnie woke up so early. I hugged, kiss and greeted him happy birthday. While i'm preparing for his breakfast, he ask me to light a candle for him, so here it is....

When daddy got home. Before dinner, he ask to light a candle for him again and sing a song for him.

My heart melted when otnie told me "mommy, it's ok that there's no cake and no party, just simply the three of us, i have new storybook and new toy car already, so that's it." The storybook and the toy car that we bought for him, it's been a very long time that he's been waiting and praying for it. I remember before we bought it, I told him "if it is God's will then God will provide that for you". He loves to read books very much and he loves cars too!...just any toy cars would satisfied him, especially a cheaper one. He knows how to spend money wisely. When he buy a toy and look at the price, if the price is P100 (pesos) and up....he would tell us its expensive and he won't buy it. 

Most of the time, i saw Otnie's contentment and joyfulness. Recycled bottles or any recycled materials are one of his favorite things to play with, then he started to imagine what toys he was holding. Peoples who visited and saw a lot of toys at otnie's toy box are having a hard time to believe that we (my husband and i) seldom buying toy for him. It's not on the material things that make us so joyful, but the contentment that each one of us had.

Happy Feet 2

Otnie enjoyed watching Happy Feet 2. We've learned that we should take care of our world 'coz it's the only planet we live for and we could find our greatest skills if we try a lot of new things.

It's a musical movie!  :)   that's why my son loves it so much. The movie emphasized not to discriminate others, but to unite as one nation in different races, like helping, caring and loving one another.

Wedding Ceremony

Obey!...it's hard to do, but there's no harm done, it benefits life and spirit; Disobey...its easy to do, but there's a consequences and failures.


I'm so surprise! On the wedding day of my youngest brother, Otnie obeyed on what the wedding coordinator instructed him to do, he walked confidently with a big smile on his face...(nice one Otnie! You did a great job!) hahahaha!

Most of the time, Otnie didn't listen that well, so i always keep reminding him that obey means listen very "carefully" and do it "immediately".


In the same way, not only our kids do the obeying things, but we as a parents or husband/wife must do the same thing, in 1 Peter 3:1-7 says "Wives, obey your own husbands. Some of your husbands may not obey the Word of God. By obeying your husbands, they may become Christians by the life you live without you saying anything. They will see how you love God and how your lives are pure. Do not let your beauty come from the outside. It should not be the way you comb your hair or the wearing of gold or the wearing of fine clothes. Your beauty should come from the inside. It should come from the heart. This is the kind that lasts. Your beauty should be a gentle and quiet spirit. In God’s sight this is of great worth and no amount of money can buy it. This was the kind of beauty seen in the holy women who lived many years ago. They put their hope in God. They also obeyed their husbands. Sarah obeyed her husband Abraham. She respected him as the head of the house. You are her children if you do what is right and do not have fear. In the same way, husbands should understand and respect their wives, because women are weaker than men. Remember, both husband and wife are to share together the gift of life that lasts forever. If this is not done, you will find it hard to pray." (New Life Version)


God is so happy if we obey Him. He is our dear Father in heaven. He knows what's best for us.
