Lately, Otnie studied about land and water forms. While he was exploring and discovering the land and water forms, he's amazed and very appreciated the beauty of God's creation.
I let Otnie to watch the movie WALL•E, so that he may learned something new. While he's watching the movie, he saw lots of garbage, the air are polluted! then he said "yeow! oh!!..it's dirty!...lots of garbage and with stinky shoe", i said "the world will be like that if we are not concerned to our surroundings."
Otnie learned how to take care the land and water forms by:
- conserving water.
- taking care of the plants.
- throw the garbage on a proper place.
- always make the surrounding clean and orderly.
- recycle - used ice cream container into a storage for crayons/pens/any school supplies or as a pot for the plants or toy drums to play with. Used BBQ stick/used egg cartons for art crafts. Used soda bottles for any kinds of liquid re-filler or drumsticks to play. It taught Otnie to be resourceful and creative.
For Artcraft:
piece of brown art paper cut into a big triangle for mountain
then paste it.
draw some waves using blue crayon or color pencil for sea
Put glue all over the sea and mountain parts, then sprinkle some sands
draw a sun using orange and yellow color crayon or color pencil
draw some birds using brown and black color crayon or color pencil
Otnie learned that if we are not concerned to our dear world very well, God will be sad and we don't have place to live including animals. So...it's never too late and let's start taking care of it.
