My country (Philippines) was hit by the typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). Lots of people all over the world donated and volunteered for the typhoon victims. Thank so much for the help.
Otnie had fun helping in repacking relief goods. He makes sure that he won't missed anything. Math are one of his favorite subject to learn by practicing it in every goods he distributed.
One thing for sure, Otnie had a heart of compassion, but he learned something valuable, an attitude of gratefulness and a cheerful giver. He tried to find something to donate for typhoon victims, he gave it away his only one shoes and some one of his clothes. I asked him "Are you sure of giving away your shoes?" He said "yes, so that the kid who will wearing this will keep his/her feet warmed. God will provide and no need to worry about."
Instead of blaming others for the responsibility in distributing relief goods/medicine/clothing/housing, why not starting from us first? Let each one of us have unity and love from one another.
Love each other deeply. Honor others more than yourselves. - Romans 12:10
