I Offer My Life - Finding Peace in the Midst of Storms

When Otnie was a couple months old, lots of people having a hard time to get him to sleep, the only thing I could tell them that they need to memorize or practice his favorite lullaby song (one of my fave!)!!! This is the only lullaby song you could "ever" sing for Otnie or you will be having a hard time to get him to sleep.

Every time, i sing or play this song. It reminds me whether in midst of stormy days or facing in a crooked life, God is always there for us and He loves us so much. Well...! 😄 God knows "exactly" what we are going through, He can be our "helper" and "compass" in life, if!! we "sincerely" trust Him. God's plans for our lives are "For I know what I have planned for you, says the Lord. I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)"

Our lives is just like an "old sailor" sailing in a calm sea with blue clear sky. Suddenly! A dark storm coming, the sea became rough and choppy! Uh!-Oh!...the boat crazily tossed and turned...SWIiiiSssshy! SwOooosh! Then! the life-jacket accidentally thrown overboard...oh! no!...and the emergency system are malfunction! An old sailor knew the storm would be rough and crazy! but he's at peace to have faith (deep in his heart!) that the rope connects to the anchor are strengthened and the weight of the anchor will hold the boat steadily no matter how big the waves are. He knew his boat would be "fine"! 😉

Life in this world, it may seems so "unfair" or "rude", it might be "painful" or in "harsh moments", but in James 1:2-4 says "My brothers and sisters, consider it nothing but joy when you fall into all sorts of trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect effect, so that you will be perfect and complete, not deficient in anything." God controls the waves and storms of life. He allows these things to rock "our boat" to test our perseverance (endurance!), in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement. He is refining us to become more mature in Christ.

When the strong tides lift so high! will you allow God to be the captain of your boat?
